SDDBT Open House

Welcome to our Open House! This event is for anybody, especially beginners, who want to try paddling and Dragon Boat. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can check you in.

We will be doing an introduction to paddling, a quick safety briefing, and then you’ll be paddling on the water with us. No experience or equipment required. We will provide equipment. You will get wet from the water splashing around, so please wear clothing that can get wet.

Please bring:

• Proof of COVID vaccination (at least 2 shots). A picture is fine.

Recommended to wear/bring:

• Athletic wear/swim shorts
• Flip flops or water shoes (not socks/shoes)
• Water bottle (one that is okay to get scratched)
• Hat
• Sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Towel and change of clothes for after the event
